Styles of Music & Worship at Good Shepherd
Good Shepherd is blessed to have six worship services each week. We are also blessed with an incredible number of gifted servants involved in each worship service.
Heritage Worship – 5:00 pm on Saturday
For Those Who Can’t Wait Until Sunday! A traditional worship service that celebrates the rich liturgical history of Lutheran worship in America. Led by organ, piano, and voice. Holy Communion celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month.
Festival Worship – 8:30 am Sunday
Rejoice and Be Glad! A traditional worship service that celebrates more recent liturgical offerings in the Lutheran Church. Often led by piano, voice, or a variety of other instruments. Holy Communion celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month.
Celebrate! Worship – 9:45 am & 11:00 am on Sunday
A contemporary worship service with high spirits that are energized by a worship team featuring guitars, drums, and contemporary music. Holy Communion celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month.
The Well Worship – 6:00 pm on Sunday
Where: Bishop Robert Lynne Ministry Center
Also known as Good Shepherd’s “Spiritual Cafe,” this contemporary service includes candles, freshly roasted coffee, and even light snacks. The worship team leads us in singing the latest contemporary Christian music alongside some of the great hymns of the church in this alternative worship experience. Holy Communion celebrated weekly.
Wednesday Worship – 6:30 pm
A mid-week worship service during the school year! Join us for Wednesday night worship, 6:30-7:15 pm
**NOTE: Lenten Worship services will replace the Wednesday service until after Easter Sunday.
